Deus, in adiutórium meum inténde.

O God, come to my assistance.

Dómine, ad adiuvándum me festína.

O Lord, make haste to help me.

Iam lucis orto sídere, Deum precémur súpplices.

Now that the daylight fills the sky, we lift our hearts to God on high.

Dóminus regit me, et nihil mihi déerit: in loco páscuæ ibi me collocávit.

The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want. Fresh and green are the pastures where he gives me repose.

Super aquam refectiónis educávit me; ánimam meam convértit.

Near restful waters he leads me, to revive my drooping spirit.

Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper, et in sǽcula sæculórum. Amen.

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Omnípotens sempitérne Deus, dírige actus nostros in beneplácito tuo, ut in nómine dilécti Fílii tui mereámur bonis opéribus abundáre.

Almighty, ever-living God, direct our actions according to your good pleasure, that in the name of your beloved Son we may abound in good works.
